Find the right size
Every mural is built from 6″ ceramic tiles, so each size is a whole number of tiles. Here is how to measure your space and choose.
How sizes work
Built from 6″ tiles
Each tile is 6″ × 6″, so mural sizes step up in 6″ increments. A 36″ × 24″ mural is 6 tiles across and 4 tiles down: 24 tiles in all.
Every mural page lists its sizes with the tile count and price, and the Tile Layout view shows the real tile grid at the size you choose.
Wide, panoramic designs are made for long walls such as outdoor kitchens and bar backsplashes. Tall designs suit shower walls and pool floors.

Measure
Measure your space in three steps

Measure the width
Measure the full width where the mural will go, for example between the cabinets or across the range hood.

Measure the height
Measure from the countertop or floor to where the mural should stop, such as the underside of the cabinets.

Note what is in the way
Outlets, switches, windows and trim. Your installer can cut tiles around them, or choose a size that sits clear of them.

Sizing questions
My wall is not a whole number of tiles. What now?
Choose the size that fits inside the space and leave a small border, or the size that covers it and let your installer trim the edge tiles. The calculator above shows both.
Can you make a size that is not listed?
Yes. Every design can be made to a custom size. Request a quote with your measurements.
Should I choose horizontal, vertical or panoramic?
Follow the shape of your wall. Backsplashes are usually horizontal, shower walls and pool floors often vertical, and long counters suit panoramic designs. The shop filters let you pick an orientation.
